As a licensed and experienced clinical psychologist, I offer psychological counselling, assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans for children, adolescents, families and adults. My goal is to build, together with my clients, a positive, trusting and non-judgmental collaboration to help them look at themselves, find awareness and use their own strengths to overcome any fears and difficulties that may occur in their lives.
I was born and raised in Italy. I hold a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology and a II Level Specializing Master in Clinical Psychology and Person-Centered Counselling from the University of Parma, Italy. I did my Internships in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology assessing children and adolescents using psychological and neuropsychological tests. I completed intensive CBT training thought the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the USA.
I am licensed as Clinical Psychologist in Italy and United Arab Emirates (Dubai Health Authority), and Member of American Psychological Association.
I have worked with children and adults since 2005 and gained training and experience dealing with a variety of ages, cultures, ethnicities, conditions and diagnoses. I have gained specialised experience offering psychological help to children and families for the Seychelles Children Foundation. I have been enriched both personally and professionally through assessing and training children with special needs and counselling their families.
I have been working at Dubai Physiotherapy & Family Medicine Clinic since 2012, offering psychological counselling to children and adults.
I adopt a cognitive behavioural approach within a person-centered relational framework and all intervention is tailored to each person based upon his individual traits and needs.
I offer my service in English and Italian.
